Moment of truth draws near

Moment of truth draws near

The countdown is on for my first real car race: I still have to wait six weeks until the engines start on April 24th at the Circuit Paul Ricard for the first round of the Spanish Formula 4 Championship. In the same place, I tested intensively last week under very different conditions with my new Jenzer Motorsport team. I came to the firm conviction that I can keep up well in this international starting field. In any case, I lost less than a second to the best time of the day in my category.

There is currently a great deal of uncertainty about the further course of the season. Due to the spread of the corona virus, many events are being canceled or postponed, especially in Italy. As things currently stand, we will probably contest the Spanish or German Formula 4 championship with Jenzer Motorsport instead of the Italian one. However, it is still too early to make detailed plans.

Regardless of this development, I'm working hard to be able to start the new season in the best physical condition. In addition to the daily fitness and fitness training with special highlights at Othmar Keller in Schindellegi and Azem Maksutaj in Winterthur, the simulator work is not neglected. I enjoy optimal conditions for this at Emil-Frey-Racing in Safenwil, at Jenzer in Lyss and at Unleashed Racing in Cham, which will soon also be opening a lounge in Kemptthal. Despite this enormous time burden, I also want to make a positive impression at the apprenticeship in the Schloss-Garage Wülflingen and at the vocational school.

Of course, the great effort has financial consequences. For this reason, I would be very happy to be able to count on your support this season. You will find a payment slip with all the necessary information as well as current pictures from Le Castellet in the attachment. As before, I would like to leave the amount of the patronage contribution up to you. Every donation is welcome and helps us further. I will report on the further course of my season in the next newsletter. I can't wait to climb back into the cockpit. Jasin Ferati
