Curtain up for Jasin Ferati's 2023 season in the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland. The Swiss team Fach Auto Tech is aiming for the top with the youngest driver trio. 19-year-old Jasin Ferati from Winterthur and his teammates Morris Schuring (18) and Alexander Fach (20) were the focus of the Fach Auto Tech team's traditional season welcome event on Friday evening in front of a large audience. Presenter Rainer Maria Salzgeber elicited ambitious plans from the protagonists in the Porsche Center Zug. "I finally want the title, but I know how difficult that will be," revealed team manager Alex Fach. "After last year's sixth place in the Super Cup, the goal must be the championship title," clarified the prominent newcomer Schuring from Holland. "Check off last season and get involved at the front," the son of the team boss has resolved. Ferati, who has found a place in the Porsche junior pool, has his sights set on overall victory in the rookie classification and in the top 10 classifications.

 

Since the latest version of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup has not yet been delivered, the start of the season has been delayed by a good two weeks. After a three-day training session in the talent pool, Ferati will be leaving on 5/6. April on the Red Bull Ring for the first time on the track. Then follow the two official test days of the championship at the Nürburgring and two test days at Spa-Francorchamps, which is also the venue for the first two races from April 28th to 30th. “I can hardly wait to finally climb back into the cockpit. Thanks to my demanding coaches, I've never been so well prepared," says Ferati happily.

 

Team leader Alex Fach is also in good spirits. “The Porsche Center Zug was once again the perfect location for a nice evening with partners, sponsors and friends. We really enjoyed ringing in the season with our guests and presenting our plans for the year.” In addition to the Carrera Cup, Fach Auto Tech is also involved in the Porsche Supercup, which is held as part of the Formula 1 World Championship races , and start in the Sprint Challenge Suisse. Sching, Fach and a driver yet to be determined will represent the team in the Supercup. Germany's Christoph Langer takes over from last year's champion Ferati in the Swiss series.
